Natural rubber wetsuits, beyond harmful neoprene and geoprene.

Β 

Yulex is the leading manufacturer of fully certified natural rubber sports materials from Forest Stewardship Council sourcesβ€”meaning the trees aren’t grown on newly cleared-cut rainforest land, like some of the world’s supply. Its mission is to replace harmful, unsustainable Neoprene in applications like Wetsuits, Footwear, and Accessories for clients like Patagonia, Finisterre, or Billabong.
Yulex approached us seeking to elevate their profile, creating awareness among consumers and brands alike. We've designed their logo and graphic system to embody a brand narrative that will serve its purposes and endure in time.
In a single symbol, the mark synthesizes the representation of the essence of Yulex, the rubber tree.
The symbol visually highlights the β€œY” letter as the core branch of the tree. It combines the letter β€œX” as the radiant branches, creating a minimal approach that reinforces the connection to Nature and the Yulex name itself. A set of icons was created to complement Yulex’s brand identity. The iconography follows the same structure as the logo mark and can be extended by applying the same construction guidelines.
